Seriously, who buys this crap? Of COURSE it's ok to wear white after labor day.
When did this country (and world) get so obsessed with fashion we decided to ignore the REAL issues?

In the early 20th century, white was the uniform of choice for Americans well-to-do enough to decamp from their city digs to warmer climates for months at a time: light summer clothing provided a pleasing contrast to drabber urban life. If you look at any photograph of any city in America in the 1930s, you'll see people in dark clothes. By contrast, the white linen suits and Panama hats at snooty resorts were a look of leisure.
The idea was that AFTER labor day all Americans would be returning to work. The reason this is no longer the case has little to do with a fashion statement and more to do with the fact few America, even the affluent ones take the entire summer off. Vaccations are no longer a set course for the American worker. Americans work more days and more hours than any other country in pursute of the material things. They place family and family time at the bottom of the list of things to value while other countries still make family the center of their lives and their top obligation...
Perhaps America would be better off if there was still an assumption of "No white after labor day"
These days the temperature around here in BC is still in the 90s so wearing darker colors in the sunshine is uncomfortable.
Maybe should have chosen no, oh well.
