It's pathetic and immature to break up with someone over text. If you need to break up with someone, you should get up the balls to do it in person. I've been dumped by text a few times, and every time it sucked.

I think a guy or a girl should tell the person face to face or atleast over the phone, and by that I don't mean voicemail. I think it is very coward of someone to break up with someone in a text.

i think it's a whimpy way out cuz then you dont have to look them in the eye when you know youre hurting them. I have only broken up with someone over msging twice and that was cuz there was no way i could see them in person any time soon.

It all depends... If it's your boy/girlfriend, with whom you've been with for the past months or more, then no, it's not, but if its someone you just met, and that he/she is kind of delusional about the relationship between you both... then it's better to do it by text... saves some time and energy
