We already stirred a hot debate when we asked you whether or not it's OK for a woman not to wear a bra. Now we have another one for you:
Is it OK for a woman not to shave her armpits?
Oscar-winner Hilary Swank sported a not-very-swanky look at Elle magazine's recent Women in Hollywood Tribute when she revealed a patch of armpit hair, Stylelist reports.
Unfortunately, the grooming oversight distracted from her rockin' body, glam dress and cool retro hairdo.
This immediately reminded us of the stir that Julia Roberts caused when she went au naturel at the "Notting Hill" premiere years ago, and more recently on the beach with her family. Is there a link between Oscar winners and hairy armpits? That may be worth further study.
In the meantime, give us your two cents. Is it OK for women to let their armpit hair grow in? (Admit it, ladies: you get tired of shaving sometimes.) Or is it the pits?

Come on people. Don't we live in the 21st century? A woman can do what she wants to do. She can shave if she wants, and she doesn't have to shave if she doesn't want to. Armpit hair, if left alone, does not affect whether or not she is a man-hating lesbian or a perfectly feminine flower. Our society needs to stop objectifying women and making them conform to some standard of beauty.
She walked in wearing a sundress and we noticed right off she hadn't shaved her legs. My legs weren't that hairy! This didn't bode well. She began to discuss her background when she pointed to some of her work on the wall behind her. As she lifted her arm, what appeared to be a large gerbil peeked out of her pit. We all cringed. Some of the guys on the front row noticed a pungent odor as well.
Shoot, I know guys that wax their backs and chests as a courtesy to their wives! Needless to say, it was a long semester.
