Let them dress the way they want. As long as I don't see 'private areas', let the go and wear what they would like. If people don't want kids dressing like this, then they better step up as parents and do some parenting. Parents are to blame if they don't pay attention to their children. If you're not paying attention to your child, then parents have no right to complain when they dress like this.
I admit, some of them try a little to hard and end up looking like idiots, to me or others. But who am I or you to tell them, how to dress? I prefer to just not worry about others, that I don't even know.
Sometimes, I just think that maybe dressing like this will encourage younger ones to dress like that. We all know the harsh things people say about one another so I just think since everyone loves them, they should dress better and be better role models, but that could just be me.
I guess it really comes down to the parent. Though honestly, when I was younger I dressed pretty weird(still kinda do, just not to the level when I was in my teens). I think blaming celebrities is too easy. I came up with far more offensive, and weird things to wear than most celebrities do. Personally, I'd make it a priority to teach my children that they aren't role models, and aren't as special/great as people make them out to be.
I agree with you but also at the same time I disagree. We see these Celebrities everywhere we all look. May it be a Tv, Magazine, Poster, Clothes, or even the Computer. It could be a big part in dressing like them. I admit sometimes I can dress a little weird too, but I am not as big as a role model as they are. I am not blaming them for everything a child does, just think that they need to mature up and grow up.
Worry about yourself.
