I see. If this was the case, I would advice you to stick back to your vegan diet :)

some people are also fools with out an education and no knowledge of nutrician as well. Many vegan get a much higher level of protein daily than many meat eaters.

    Derp.

Its completely healthy when done correctly.

Just because its not your thing doesn't make it unhealthy.

    Lol, yup. You are correct.
when did i ever even imply that you were unhealthy or a bad person though?
I'm a meat eater myself, after all.
    I'm just being factual here.

Why are you so protective of vegetarian if you are not one yourself???
  • sd *TRO... Connect... 2012/05/31 08:40:53

    Lol i'm hardly being protective.

Like I said, i'm just being factual.

If I see people holding false notions or spreading disinformation about something, I am going to correct them and state the facts. Regardless of how relevant the topic may be to me personally.

Yes, I have considering becoming a vegetarian. And ideally, i'd like to be.

Its just a matter of when I can muster up the willpower for it, haha.

    So do I :)

Being a vegetarian in the place I live is much more harder than in America, though.

First, conformity is very commonplace in Vietnam. People are expected to follow standards of society to be able to fit in. And you know, people in Vietnam doesn't care much about the animal they eat. It's the country that eat dogs anyway :)

Second, the weather and the environment in Vietnam is much more than in America. One need to eat enough meat to sustain enough energy so they can stand it

Please explain why 40% of N. American are over weight and why the exact same number of children are pre-diabetic or diabetic as well?

Certain types of vegan and vegetarian food may be processed, but its not like processed foods are the only options for them

Many vegetarians and vegans stick to raw fruits and vegetables, and cook their own meals.

I work at Whole Foods and we sell all those things absolutely vegan. If someone really wanted to be vegan, it is actually quite easy.

A village idiot is one who cannot read and do research into how to eat sensibly without killing animals.

    Read up on it......

Learn about the foods that you can eat that will give you the best nutrients.....

When you go Vegan or vegetarian you cannot eat meat which is a good source of protein....That is what you have to learn about...One of the biggest Nutrients your body needs is protein..Your brain, muscles all need the protein to survive..So you have to learn the substitute of what gives the most protein.....Most people make the wrong mistake of not eating enough protein and they get sick....

The only thing I can say is read about it....

I personally am not sure either way is really all that healthy...we were born to be meat eaters, and hence, our bodies do require some pf the nutrients that come from muscle meats...but I think we really need very little to get those nutrients, as long as we are healthy in other ways....fruits and veggies, little or no alcohol, and drugs, no smoking .
