Absolutely. The evidence that meat is detrimental to our health and lifespan is totally undeniable. We do not require meat as EVERY nutrient that meat provides can be obtained from other sources. Heck, we aren't even supposed to drink milk after childhood!
There is a reason that veggies live longer and healthier lives. People like to talk about how meat is healthy but...Isn't health about living longer disease free? Which is exactly what a meat FREE diet provides.

Its completely healthy when done correctly.
Just because its not your thing doesn't make it unhealthy.

I'm a meat eater myself, after all.

Like I said, i'm just being factual.
If I see people holding false notions or spreading disinformation about something, I am going to correct them and state the facts. Regardless of how relevant the topic may be to me personally.
Its just a matter of when I can muster up the willpower for it, haha.
Being a vegetarian in the place I live is much more harder than in America, though.

When you go Vegan or vegetarian you cannot eat meat which is a good source of protein....That is what you have to learn about...One of the biggest Nutrients your body needs is protein..Your brain, muscles all need the protein to survive..So you have to learn the substitute of what gives the most protein.....Most people make the wrong mistake of not eating enough protein and they get sick....
