Is it fair that 53% of us have to pay for the other47% of the people

What has America
become. We have 47% of the nation think
that we owe them something. Many of
these people get a refund even though they have not paid in a dime in income
tax. Many of you here will defend them
as well and many will not. I was raised
that the only things you get in life you earn with hard work and effort. When I was in Jr. High and High School I
worked part time jobs like washing dishes, car washes, newspaper routes, nurseries
and janitorial as well as many other jobs.
I did not get any grants or money to go to college I paid for it myself
while working at the same time. Just as
many in my generation. Some went into
the service and served this nation and went on the GI bill and many of them
worked at the same time.

Today people think that we should pay for their college and
their housing and food and have done absolutely nothing to earn it. I have watched as some turned into baby
factories and other that want me to pay for their mistakes and their birth
control.

I for one am tired of this and I want the government to do
something about it.

Stop allowing illegal immigrants to take up jobs. Nobody should be allowed to get a welfare cheque who hasn't paid into the system. Simple....you don't pay in, you don't collect. Illegal immigrants shouldn't be able to send for their families to come over when they're going to be collecting disability cheques.

I wish the 53% would appreciate how lucky they are. I'm the 47%, but what can I do. I wish I had a job and could be complaining about paying for other people. For some people, it all comes together. They have a good job that allows them to live comfortable. I'm sick of hearing about hard work though. Many of the people on the bottom work the hardest.

Wanna trade? I'd gladly take your good job and pay for you if you'd rather be the one whos unemployed.

Bring back all those jobs that were sent overseas. Give the people their dignity back. Stop dumping goods made by slave labor. We can't compete with goods made by the Asian fifth grade at 5 bucks a day. [Like your designer running shoes]. Stop dumping Jap trap cars that have the recalls hidden as improvements. In closing employ an American so he can employ you.

Thank You. Keep ion mine that many of those Japanese car are now made here. Many of those jobs will never come back here as the U.S. is not friendly to them. Keep in mind that the EPA, 2nd highest corporate taxes in the world , government regulation and they can not longer get skilled help to man the jobs because everyone wants their kid to go to college. There are 3.1 million skilled labor jobs open at this time and no one to hire for them. We are raising a bunch of kid that can not do a damned thing.

No the Jap cars are assembled here. The parts come from Asia. Now step out of the box please. Change the stupid EPA laws. Next. Please tell me where they lack the skilled jobs you speak of. I and millions of other Americans who worked in manufacturing who are skilled would like to know.

I use to make parts for them right here in America. Check the wanted ads in north Dakota just for one. Need welders machinist and electricians. I am talking about the young people that are coming out of high school that have never had a shop class or gone to a trade school. Most of them have nothing to offer and most do not go to college to get these skills. The last shop I supervised I could not find a mold maker or even a tool and die maker. I finally settled for an old machinist and trained him.

Well there tons of us in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan. I was a metal bender myself. I worked in the Stamping Industry as a Supervisor too. The know how is here. See I made car parts all my life. That's why I laugh when people say they are made here. No they just put them together here to avoid a hefty import tax. Those Asian car companies are not doing any favors.

There is one company here in the US that makes many of the worlds piston. Shipping many to Japan and Korea. I just heard a guy complaining on TV he was unable to find people that have enough skill to run his CNN equipment and I know that he was located in the Michigan area. I think that he needs 50 people.
My last job I designed end form and bending tools and had a crew that I supervised make them. Our biggest Business where I was at was making AC tubes. For a long time we also did the AC control heads. Most of our parts were Nissan, some for Honda and Isuzu. Naturally GM and AC Delco. We also shipped some parts to Japan, but most were used here. Another division made the exhaust, compressors and dashboards for Nissan mainly. Many of GM parts are made outside of the U.S. I listen to a vido where the GM of China telling them that 70% of GM parts are made some where other than America.

It's CNC Computer Numerically Controlled. The schools won't teach it! It's was left up to the puppy mills that turned out "Button Monkeys". There I agree 100%. I was in the same sitution in my CNC area. It's not the lazyness it's no training. Our schools are still teaching crap that won't get our kids jobs. But 50 jobs compared to over half a million shipped. It's nothing. But I guarantee those parts are dogs that the fifth grade cant make.

It's like church folks, or cleaning up garbage. We all voted those who chose how to create this mess in. I'm tired of those who want clean neighborhoods, throwing crap out their windows! They should HAVE TO
HELP CLEAN IT UP. In Church, everyone pitching in does A LOT- we know this. The ONLY ones not EXPECTED to give to the til is the very poor. But EVEN the poor usually feel like they should give something to church- why?! Even as a middle class individual, I wouldn't mind pitching in more IF THE IDIOTS WOULD NOT SPEND IT ON DUMB CRAP. Until that stops, I dont want too, and I don't blame the rich for not wanting to either.

As long as evils are sufferable, they should be suffered.

No offense, but this isn't about 'fair.' It's about one group of people asserting the right to own another group of people. If it weren't, we'd be busily discussing other ways of generating revenue.

During the Reagan administration there were 25 million illegals in this nation and people were still on welfare and just did not want to work. It has not changed much since then. We still have millions of illegals that are employed and they government just gave 1.3 to 1.8 million the okay to stay here without repercussion. Our leader has brought almost 4 million more legal immigrants since this started and has not stopped it. We still import 40% of our oil and he is still not giving out permits and just sits on the his numbers and tells the people that we are now using less foreign oil. What would you expect when all these 12 million people are not driving to work. This does not even include those who have stopped looking.
    Thank you my friend.

Sounds like we're looking at the same problem from opposite ends of the microscope. I see income and property taxes as a human rights violation and you see human rights violations as a tax on free people. We're both right. :-)

Lol I have to tell you that I think that property taxes are totally unconstitutional. For as long as you pay property tax you are merely renting from the government and they really own the property.

How 'bout we change the way taxes are assessed? How about abolishing income and property taxes on 13th amendment grounds, and establish an NRST?

The so called fair tax is in no way fair. It is a rich man's dream and a poor man's nightmare. After the rich man bought what he wanted, he would have millions or billions of tax free dollars left over.

You have to keep in mind that the rich still do this. The other thing is in the fair tax it eliminate all hidden tax. Hidden taxes are about 28% of your income as they drive up prices and you do not see most of them.

Since the poor man spends all of his income for his family to live, he would pay tax on every dollar of his income. like I said, it would be a rich man's dream and a poor man's nightmare.

You are taxed on what you spend not what you earn. They were talking about a 15% tax so if you are paying 28% in hidden taxes you will come out ahead.
