Even in a selfish way. It is better to give than recieve.

This year my children did not have any presents to open for christmas. But what I learned their are many angels, hereos and secret santas in the world today. They could not fulfill everyone wishes but they did a great job. 2013 I will like to be an angel,hero or secret santa to someone.

I like giving, especially when I know they really like it, but I like receiving better.

One must have something to give. Time,money,love,comfort to others. One must receive or earn money,goods,assets before they can share them. It is good to receive but it is not good to hoard what one receives. Sharing with the poor is a duty of every Christian.

I like giving~I get Santa letters from the PO every year and fill their requests~ I do Therapy Dog visits and testing~I send pkgs to the Troops all year long~and contribute to VFWs and the USO~~ It is very satisfying~~

Not to me... I think it's pointless for people to both give and receive, adults give to children, well off give to the poor. Otherwise it's just passing money around and no one's any better off...

What you give is important. Waring is giving nothing good at all. People bearing arms thinking they are giving a good thing are giving nothing good at all. People give the impression that a gun is power, but that it not a good gift to give.

A person can have a gun. A good spirit will not use it too kill a human that Jesus laid his life down to save. People need to not teach that a gun is power. A gun does not solve a problems. A gun is brainless. A person who thinks a gun solves problems waring with it is as brainless as the gun with a dead soul.

It has always been better to give than receive...and not just gifts. Gifts are nice and can be given at any time, but to truly give of ourselves goes a whole lot deeper. The time is coming when we are going to learn more about giving than we ever have before. We may have to give up our own lives to save another, be it family member, friends, or perfect stranger. We are a nation of givers, of that I am very proud. And because of that, our hearts are in the right place and God will stand by us...

We must never forget that this nation was given to us as a blessing [ through Abraham ] because we obeyed our God in heaven. You can find out much about this in Genesis. We must continue to obey God and stand with him and He will stand with us.

Karmically one receives much more than they give. It makes life more joyous for others,but most important,and a point that should be dwelled apon for a long time,is that NOTHING is expected or ACCEPTED in return.This is true giving.
