Is Homosexuality still considered a sin in this day and age of 2009 - ?

After all this is 2009 -and most scientific proof had lead us to believe that homosexuality is not something someone chooses --rather it chooses them at some point whether it be at conception or in the genes or in early child developement etc.

    But to us open minded people not "satans followers" we see it as love not a sin. Maybe god dosen't change but everyones view's on thing does. Even God's. Be more open to it if god hated homosexual he would've killed them off years ago and hating isn't god's nature.     Being a homesexual in itself is not a sin. For reasons unknown some people are born with a "different" sexual make-up. However, acting on those feelings is a sin. It is no different than someone being born with propensity toward murder, thieving, etc. - it's not thier fault for having been born like that, but to act on it is a sin.

    Unfortunately, too many poorly informed people try to equate homosexuality with child sex abuse, when in reality, the overwhelming number of child sex abusers are heterosexual.

    Acting on their feelings isn't a sin....it's who they are. That would be like calling it a sin for me to act on my feelings as a straight man....that isn't a sin, either....it's who I am. I didn't choose to be heterosexual, just like gays and lesbians don't choose to be homosexual, that's who they are, and that isn't a "sin."
