Flirting just for the fun of it is harmless, but flirting as a means of looking for a different partner is horrible. If you can't tell the difference you should not be in the flirting game until you've learned it.

I think it's harmless to a certain extent, but everything can be taken too far. It also depends on how your partner would feel about it. You shouldn't be going behind their back to do it.

I'm sure many are claiming that it's harmless because they are secure in their relationship. Well, if you are that secure, why not break away from useless flirtations? What could possibly be of gain for you that your partner cannot provide? If you feel the need to flirt, you really don't need to be in a relationship.

Depends on the couple. In all my relationships, we've both been okay with some light flirting. I know couples who see it as cheating. I say this is something that should be discussed with your partner. Then, if you're both okay with it, flirt away.

I dinto think it's horrible but depending on the person you are flirting with and your significant other, it can have an effect on the relationship. But if the relationship has trust and it's only harmless flirting then it's really not that big of a deal. Both flirting and jealousy are part of human nature that can't always be controlled.

Harmless, as long as it doesn't cross the line. Where that line is depends on the relationship. A few flirtatious words are usually acceptable. A flirtatious kiss - not usually acceptable.

I worked at a bank for 19 years 125 women 25 guys, now I work for a government agency 400 employees roughly 300 women maybe 100 males, what i've learned is that women appreciate compliments, some take time in the morning to get dressed and look nice, I let them know that they have achieved their goal..I'm happily married, so I don't want into their pants, just being nice!! It takes confidence in ones self to do the right thing, No harm as long as you have self control.

Depends how secure you feel in your relationship, either way people with opposing views on this have a hard time getting along in a relationship. I'd say either both of you flirt or neither of you do- some people are OK with open relationships, others aren't... personally, I don't think any "open" relationship is a serious one, its more like "friends w/ benefits" but that doesn't mean you don't care about your friend. People in committed relationships can also be some of the most miserable bastards on the planet- that said so are people in open relations when it becomes a competition.

depends on how serious the relationship is. If its someone you are just having fun with Id say a little flirting is harmless. And it depends on how you are flirty if its a coy little smile here and there or a flirtatious laugh I think you are ok

I wouldn't like it. If you're happy in your relationship, why flirt with others? It's good to be friendly and chatty with others, but flirtatious? No.
