I think there's life in it yet but they do have to be careful how they proceed. People are getting seriously "miffed" at how it's being run at the moment.

the more Games .. silliness .. Adverts ..
The more Sock Accounts all these silly ones are developing
(seriously .. I know several with multiple profiles out there .. and they've friended themselves sadly enough)

the higher the probability that this is just a stop-gap on the way down ..
a way to try to keep a niche active for a bit more time ..
and delay the eventual end ..

I still use it to contact my good friends and family that I cannot contact normally. XP It's a fine tool, people are free to hate it or love it. It's still ok.

One could only hope but they're approaching one billion Fakebookers. lol I just read the other week on the MSN home page the 10 most hated companies in America and Facebook was #1 mainly due to privacy violations.

The information the Govt, uses from FB will most certainly assure it's continuity. For how long? Until the number of people using it reaches a level the Feds consider it is no longer a viable source of information.

It's been built up to be more than it is.
The issue Facebook has is advertising. On PC etc advertising is simple. Now-a-days many people use their phone for Facebook and for that matter Twitter activities, so they by-pass the ads.

i miss the days where more meaningful things were posted and not just lame memes, but im not going to join twitter or any new trend just cuz of that. i will stick with facebook where my pictures and stories, games and family and most of my friends are. no point jumping ship for something that will only last another year
