Is Drinking Coffee Healthy?
you are an older adult and don’t go crazy with it, that is.)
The National Cancer Institute and AARP got together to research the
effects of coffee (caffeinated or decaffeinated) and learned that those
who partake in coffee drinking have a lower overall risk of death than
those who don’t! Oh man my grandpa is going to be sooooo happy to hear
about this one.
If you are a coffee drinker you may have a lower risk of a lot of fatal
issues like heart disease, respiratory disease, stroke, injuries,
diabetes, and infections—according to ScienceDaily.
Though they caution that they have not found a direct link between
coffee and living longer, it still is looking good, and I’ll take it!
Plus the more the 50-71 year olds drank coffee, the longer they tended
to live!
Well, I’m going to go fill up my cup. Let’s rejoice that one of the
most commonly consumed beverages in America may actually be good for us.
Out with the diet coke, in with the espresso!
