Economic choices were not free, they made decisions based on what they were told to do. If a business made a profit, the SS could come in and take it from them at any time. If hitler wanted a paper mill to build bombs, they couldn't have said simply no thank you... They would have been shot or arrested. That's what I mean, not a free enterprise.reply

Most people don't like obama but the guy has tried to do something for the country and was blocked at every turn by congress. Sure some of those blocks were good but the line needs to be drawn somewhere. We can't simply let one branch say no any time they feel like it.reply

We should get all incumbents out and personally I think the whole system needs an overhaul. For a government set up for the people by the people, we don't have much of a say. The only thing we can really do is elect someone we hope shares our views and will stick to them in office. With all the free communication that goes on, like this site, why aren't our voices heard.reply

It wouldn't really work because of privacy and people hating other's for their opinions but I haven't come up with a better system. I will though. I spend a lot of time thinking about these things and all it takes it time.reply

I'm exaggerating but not much. And the recounts make people distrust the system even more. Every time there is a recount there is a new total and people accuse the winner of cheating or buying the vote. In a system like this, if the people don't trust it, it just doesn't work.reply

We don't need the officials to do anything. We need them to go away and let people with some intelligence do the work. But hopefully the world will end either this year or 7 years from now. I don't care which prophecy is right, as long as it ends.reply
