    ugliest building world
    I guess because all architects, just like all people are not alike, and have different tastes in what is beautiful as far as buildings go....but ok, I picked this one because I've seen so many places like these and can't figure out why they're still standing!!!

    Yup, Boston City Hall deserves to be named ugliest building in the world.

    It is very ugly.....kind of what I envision everything looking like if liberals ruled the earth.

    The 2nd is Bill Clinton's Library. I don't know why Democratic Socialists have no taste in building buildings, but the results are obvious.

    I have never been to any of these places. I have drove NY's bus terminal. In the pictures Boston City Hall is the ugliest.

    It looks like a range (stove) hood. They're all eyecatching, but not in the way the architects intended.

    Having designed a lot of buildings myself, would have to say “Boston City Hall” looks like a freaking cooling tower. Pump enough water into it, would look pretty kewl spilling out.
    Architects go to way too much school now days. You can’t teach creativity and style. All of these buildings are fine examples, of crap. Funny thing is a lot of people got paid a lot of money to do it. LMAO…..

    the tin roof.
    the stone chimney.
    the hills in the background.
    Yeah...it's sad that nobody cares about it. It could be very beautiful with a liitle love.

    Very true that someone stopped caring for that place, it was once someone's home...but this one is simply captivating and quaint ...

    Here is a pic of our city's newest courthouse...right outside of "Colonial" Williamsburg, near the College of William & Mary (very strict building codes here) Why this one passed, we have no idea, no one in town likes it at all!! haha We keep expecting to see armed guards in the cupolas atop the building, LOL...but nothing says "Colonial" about this structure at all really.

    Mobile Alabama Courthouse is the ugliest building to me. Here this metal and glass structure in the middle of old down town - with the mansion type buildings.

    I think the ugliest building in the world is...

    Entirely in the eye of the beholder! And to have the audacity to assume that everyone else in the world agrees with one's taste simply because one has an outlet through the media simply means one is an egomaniacal psycho, totally out of touch with reality (in MY opinion, anyway - I'll let everyone else make up their own minds).

    Beauty truly IS in the eye of the beholder. Prince Chuck of England, who has voiced his preference for traditional/classical architecture over "modern" repeatedly, gave up the lovely Princess Di for Camilla Parker Bowles - which, if I had been Chuck, would NOT have been my choice.

    Opinion is opinion, fact is fact, and the fact of the matter is that one should not voice an opinion and claim it is fact. Nuff said.
