The consistency of blood actually is thicker than water but no not particularly in my case anyway... With my kids....yes. With my brothers and sisters....No.

I used to have a small case that I kept some drawing supplies in,when I did a show,and I had a sticker on it that said;Blood is thicker than water and tastier too!

I do caricatures,and also make drinking horns,and tie people up in a puzzle,at Renaissance faires,and celtic festivals.Did a biker rally this year,but it was too cold and damp for anyone to attend but me!

It`s fun,although business has been off the past few years.Did a show in Feb.,almost made enough to cover my hotel room.The outdoor shows,are better.I can sleep in the minivan,and party with the other merchants.The shows are like family reunions,only better.Been doing this for over 14 years

i believe so, blood clotts so im almost positive it is thicker because water is really thin, but idk im not a doctor i could be wrong i havent tested it but i would have a very good guess that blood id thicker

I believe in the old adage "To live by the sword is to die by the sword.", I will stand by blood relatives to the death if they are right and just,but, if they are wrong they will fall by their own hand and I won't catch them.

I know it sounds harsh but, I don't like to compromise my morals for anyone.

if someone is my blood i instantly love them because they are a part of me BUT my grandfather on my mothers side is my step grandfather as he is my moms step dad but hes been with my grandma since my mom was less than a year old he is one of my fav people in the whole world and i would not trade him for anything !!

yes - but when you are of a mixed blood family you are bonded equally to all the ansestry that is within one's family. It makes ya feel like your being torn apart at times.

Yes, most definitely.
"Blood is redder than water" is what they say in Germany, I was born there when my father was in the U.S.Army. It's a proverb (Blut ist dicker als Wasser), which in English speaking countries is "Blood is thicker than water". It generally means that the bonds of family and common ancestry are stronger than those bonds between unrelated people (such as friendship).

It first appeared in medieval times as 'Kin-blood is not spoilt by water.' In 1412. And No, I do not have any information if the saying was first penned by a Vampire, but the name Bram Stoker does come to mind, LOL!
