
Keep working on it, Apple. People have been trying to develop holo-technology for years, and if anyone's going to actually design a holodeck in my lifetime, it'll probably be you guys.

As I see it, they're already 40 years overdue for becoming commonplace in reality.

I know someone who attended Penn back in 1983 and they even had holograms then.
He says everybody did the same thing, make chess pieces.

Personally, I don't see the point in a holographic PHONE, but computer items such as what Tony Stark is using below would be very useful. I KNOW a company will come out with it eventually. Hec, they probably could now, but they can't release it yet.
Maybe once touch Screen have been intergrated into every corner or everyday life holograms will emerge.
It was actually done by a CRT projected onto a curved mirror that made it appear as if a little man was standing there. It was very cool at the time, and i had hoped it was the future of video games, but apparently it was a one shot wonder. This couldn't have happened on a open table though, because it was in the box for a reason. The nice thing was that the box was open, so you could reach in to try and grab the guy, but of course it was just an illusion and it was like grabbing air, and your brain was like.. wha??
