
Keep working on it, Apple. People have been trying to develop holo-technology for years, and if anyone's going to actually design a holodeck in my lifetime, it'll probably be you guys.

BUT I DAMN SURE HOPE SO!
I don't think a decent holographic interface will be out in the next 5 years, maybe 10. Proper 3D hasn't even had all the bugs worked out yet (and is still relatively expensive) so why would holograms, especially portable ones, be available any time soon?
On a slightly different note, imagine watching holographic porn... *digital laugh*
There's one step that comes before the general public is playing with holograms.
