Is anyone else on this forum tired of all the political questions lately?

I completely understand that others are into politics and the upcoming election but I am not and quite often I skip the polls when it is this subject. There are times when posting polls to let some subjects rest.
No hard feelings, I just felt like I needed to speak out.

I think it is important that things are discussed, talked out , in full view ..

what I do tire of , is the hate, the vile name calling , the lies, the hiding the truth , the mass media distort the truth ... that , I got tired of years ago....

funny ( or disturbing, depends upon your view point ) how quick , how nasty some are with the personal attacks ..

when , in real life, most people try their best to avoid confrontation..

Sure I know about those personal attacks you mentioned. I had it happen when there was a religious post. I try not to go to that subject coz I can't back up facts but when I said an opinion, I got jumped all over. It WAS only an opinion, wow.

I say the internet alone is like this, it isn't just sodahead. Like with anything else, there's going to be a few "bad apples."

It doesn't take me a year to make up my mind concerning elections. I'm so sick of politics, everyday my snail mail box is full my E-mail full. I'm tired of the mudslinging...

If you're young, I suggest trying to know about it to some degree because it really is important to know. I'm not crazy about it myself but it is necessary to know and vote on the issues, etc.

I agree. It is important, but I just don't like how the people act. Some people act like children. They are really into it, so they act very harsh to other people sometimes. Besides that, I just feel that I don't have a reason for voting for anyone. If I could, I guess I would vote for Romney, but I don't think there is a good reason behind it.

However this is a very very important election year... so I can take all the politics on sodahead... it is almost a duty as a voter do hear all sides on different issues facing our country.... so that voters can make the correct vote in November...Yes we can or no I can't..... this is not 08....I want solutions addressed ...not more foolish talk,,,bark

At least no one has made it a race issue. I was getting tired of that.
