Thomas Beatie, who was born a woman, will be the first trans gendered man to carry a child. Though he underwent surgery to switch genders, he kept his female reproductive organs and is nearly six months pregnant. Making an appearance on the Oprah Show, he told Ms. Winfrey that his current wife Nancy was unable to conceive and that's the only reason he decided to go through with the pregnancy. Beatie was able to conceive via artificial insemination. "I'm a person and I have the right to have my own biological child," he told the talk show host. He expects to deliver a girl around July 3rd. So, is America ready for a pregnant man?

No. This is not natural. It's dark-sided.

imagine if you grew up knowing your dad gave birth to you. this baby is going to be in the news his whole life known as the 'kid born from a man' or something similar. think of all the kids at school that are gonna make fun of his/ her dad. True, its that man's body, but it's the kids entire life at stake now. that's who i care about.

she/he still kept her/his female reproductive organs so it doesn't really count.

First of all its twisted...and I’m not one to judge....But first of all...Its not a pregnant man....She was BORN a WOMAN! Thus making her a woman, screw having her sex changed. Men can NOT have children...its scientifically imposable! But beyond "her" having this child, think about the up bringing of the actual child! That baby is going to grow up with "A man" saying "Yea Daddy gave birth to you"....wow.....Say that out loud to yourself and tell me if that sound right....? i have a lesbian friend...it really doesnt have much to even do with being gay or whatever....because i thought for a second.....why is it such a big deal that shes having a baby....? and its because everybody keeps saying shes legally a man....(because she had the sex change and could grow a mustache) idk dude....but all n all to answer tha question....NO America is not ready for this kinda stuff....
I saw this video....and he pretty much talks about the same stuff i just said....its crazy...

According to the interviews and reports "he" never had surgery. "He" took male hormones, and his clitoris "grew enough for sexual intercourse" (we only have "his" word for that, and personally, I really, really, don't want to see this idiots pseudo-penis) but went off them when the couple decided to try to conceive. "He" never felt "he" was in the wrong body. "He" is genetically female, but never felt that this was wrong. "He" has no dx'd gender related health/psychological issues. "He" has never had, nor attempted to have gender reassignment surgery because "he" never felt "wrong".
"He" is a lesbian, and "he" need professional help to accept "his" sexuality and deal with his mental health problems before "he" completely fucks up "his" kid.
"he" says "he" is legally a man - I have no idea how this was accomplished, but I suspect that perhaps there were some other (ahem fraud) issues.
Oprah should be ashamed of herself - I'd expect this of Springer.... and when I wasn't looking People became a glossy version of the Enquirer.
