This is one of those "no duh" studies, but we'll go ahead and tell you about it anyway. A recent study found that men are willing to pay for a date if she’s pretty, How About We reports. Like you didn't already know that ...

But it kind of works both ways. The more attractive a man is, the more women expect him to pay, the study from University of St. Andrews in Scotland found. AND, people who find themselves attractive think they DESERVE to be treated. The nerve!

Here's the good news: If he DOESN'T offer to pay, well, he might be "just not that into you." Which we kind of already figured, but it's a good rule of thumb. And if SHE doesn't expect you to pay, well, she might not think you're all that. Bottom line: Guys, if you like her, and if you think she likes you, you should probably open up the wallet ...

Yes most of the time guys behave like gentlemen and buy dinner but I think that ladies should also behave like gentlewomen and should pay at times....I don't know why is it such a big thing that only guys should pay I don't care about paying myself as long as the food is good.

Sadly some can, but hopefully most women have sense, morals and values. Women need to do a better job of teaching men that we are humans of value and not cheap toys, like it or not boys haha.

If I'm already dating the person I would feel obligated to pay for both of our's simply because it is gentlemen's edicate to do so. The survey suggests you are already on the date so in my opinion beauty is not connected to paying once actually on the date.

Actually, a guy's more likely to have dinner with a pretty girl in the first place, because he wouldn't have asked her out if she looked terrible! Unless she had an awesome personality, that is. But, once on the first date, well, men normally pay for it whether the girl is hot or not. I certainly wouldn't differentiate! You've invited the girl for a meal, so pay for it, dammit!

To bad there are only two options as other would be a more fair way to give an answer at times. But, men will be men and I'd have to agree that looks are what will override as a means to their decision.
