Is a 'Downton Abbey' Video Game Super or So Lame?

I'll probably love it.

Itd be great though to have a game that can put me to sleep within a few minutes.

Looks like a text adventure game. God those are boring!

Hope they lose $$ with the production of this.

I enjoy the series alot, but this is a bloody wretched idea.

I'm not terribly interested, but I need to point out that I actually PLAY video games, so its strange to think that this even seems odd to some people. I mean seriously, Ive played a game about the existential crisis a person experiences while waiting for his dinner guest to arrive. There's a game about going into the memories of a dying man to fulfill his last wish. Another entirely about an old lady visiting a graveyard, a surrealist interpretation of the life of the first democratically elected prime minister of Iran, a ghost story centered around just walking around an island. I understand that there is a stereotype that people cling to, but a Downton Abbey game doesn't even strike me as unusual. Its just another game. Maybe not the kind of game that breaks sales records, but still, its hardly a unusual piece of contemporary video game-dom.

Ive never played it although Im a fan of the television series. Most TV series made into games are lame though. They lose something in the crossover.

Fantastic series. Seriously, one of the best series of the last ten years. But no way could you make it a decent game.

I don't know anything about the show, so... I can't really comment on it. I'm sure if it was done right, it could be good, but we've seen far too many awful games based off TV and movies.,,

Hey, it's a good show - but why make a game of it?

I haven't personally seen it. But it would seem that nothing could compare to the 'real' thing. ( I liked "Upstairs, Downstairs" also.

I swear, if Downton Abbey was available intravenously I would take it. Best show ever.

I love the show but this game sounds really dumb. I guess it's cool that they are giving it a retro 16 bit look. I'd try it... I still think it sounds dumb though.

I'm kind of a meh on this one. I like Downton Abbey, but I don't know if I would honestly spend time playing a video game of it. Civ V is more my style.

I know theres already some but relese doctor who video games in america come on bbc do it
