You!

Facebook purchased Instagram for $1 billion in cash and stock. Some people detest Facebook and worry about using the app because of privacy or other concerns. Others find the acquisition synergistic since Facebook will likely completely integrate Instagram (and they "Like" Facebook). Is Facebook ’s buying Instagram the cue for you to exit stage left? Fret not. Your newly attuned eye and filtering skills need not be squandered. There are several alternatives to Instagram if you’ve got to shoot and share.

I'll avoid anything from Facebook. Facebook sucks, and I will never have an account on that site ever again.

That depends on what they buy. I have great image editing software, so I am not the least interested in Instagram. But if they develop or acquire an app I have a use for, of course I'll look at adopting it.

Because, for starters, they are hackers. They took all the "private" contacts from my email account. I went to FB out of curiosity and found a list of all my friends, so I clicked on them. Then I got a bunch of emails denying my invitation to have them join me on FB. I had no idea that was what I was doing-no instructions--typical online. Or you might want to avoid them because once in, deliberately or not, you are a member for life since almost every site that is connnected with them requires you "visit" them if you want to go further:. That visit reinstates your membership.

You might want to avoid them because they are stalkers. My computer was down for months. Since they could get no response from me on my main acct, they tried my backup acct. Failing there, they found a secret acct that I had set up--I needed someplace online to call my own. They then published that site all over the internet. Before I forgot my password, I got a glimpse of a LOT of emails. AOL charges $100.00 to retrieve a lost password. FB also replaced my backup account password so should I forget one password, I would be unable to retrieve it.

There's more, but those are a few reasons to avoid it. How I wish I wasn't so curious. I, and 2 others I know, once in FB, couldn't get out. No x to click, nada--you were their captive.

    FB SUCKS

All technology stalks you now days. Ever heard of cookies? How about out GPS? FB isn't hurting me. And I've never been screwed by technology in any such way. You just have to know how to use it is all. Internet safety 101.

I agree that Most technology stalks--some are still honest. Yes, I know about cookies--I also know I can delete them. GPS--I hever heard the term. But when someone goes into my email acct, I get pissed. When they publish my email acct all over the web and make it impossible for me to retrieve a lost password, I get pissed. What did I do wrong in all of this? Just have to know how to use it--how does that relate to the things they did--trapping me and others on their site, making it nearly impossible to opt ou (all honsest sites give you the option to unsubscribe. Not FB. All the things i said about FB are specific to them. Maybe you can tell me what I did wrong since clearly you find me the villain here.

My contacts list. Yes, they did, though they probably have another word for it given the intention. Included were a number of one-time business contacts--every single contact gmail had saved. Not included was anyone not on my contacts list. Bad timing. My computer was recently hacked too. It had to be completely rebuilt, and since there was no money involved, it was legit. That hacker had some fun in my email too.

I have cancer and a lot more--I am a bit busy even to continue this. I know what I know. If I am not sure, I say so. I am sure. I know no one else who would even have known how to do that; and I have other legal, and health issues to tend to. I can't sue everyone. This only told me that I want nothing to do with FB. I would like to leave it at that.

I could care less about your pity. You find this funny. Ha ha, I am in so much pain I can barely function. So OK 12 million people have cancer (many will die--hilarious; peripheral neuropathy (which is leading to paralysis), degenerative disk disease with a crunched nerve in their necks, bone-crushing fatigue and so much more from undiagnosed Lyme disease, migraines, congenital sleep apnea and insomnia, a literal hole in their skull, a concussion, a recent stroke, sinusitis, blepheritis and other vision problems, a brain infection I cannot kick, cellulitis, colitis, a broken rib and blood clot in their lung from an attack, dizzy and fainting spells--do I need to go on or will you drop it? All these conditions require special care, be it medicine or exercise or filling out forms--I am far too busy to play this cruel game with you. And somehow I need to move while doing all the rest, believe it or not, most of which I did not mention. I come here to relax and get you. i think it is time to move on. An educated discourse requires facts, not lol. Ha ha, I am not living up to your expectations.

I lived for 4 years right after cancer surgery stuck in bed able to get one meal a week and snacks when I could. The money I needed for medical care was stolen. Lyme disease requires 12 hours sleep a night plus a nap. Without food, you become too weak to get up and start lawsuits. Further, I cannot afford the gas to get to the courthouse. And since 5 doctors and my body say get the hell out of a really bad situation, I need to focus on moving out. NOW. That is my only chance to survive. Then I can think about lawsuits.

5 doctors who never spoke to each other all gave me a year to live if I couldn't get out of here, which is another story and frankly more important than filing lawsuits. Lawyers are not cheap either. And i never said I was too busy to file. On the contrary, I said I had legal issues to tend to. I have to live my life on a few hours a day, and that is because of the hard work that went into getting going again and continues. Malpractice also played a big role. My suffering should give you enough LMAOF to keep you busy for awhile, and how cruel can you get. Had you taken me at my word, I would not have written any of this. And it is only 1/4 of the situation I am up against.

Now you can sleep blissfully knowing you attacked, with no knowledge, someone who is really suffering. That's intelligence (and that is sarcasm). Leave me alone or I will dig up the rest of the story.

Then who? I got an email from them when I was just starting out. I clickked the link and was presented with a list of all my online friends but no instruction or explanation. So I checked the names of friends. I later realized that all business contacts--people I had talked to once, were on that list. It was my whole contacts list and nothing else, and as soon as I got done with the list, I was unwittingly a member. Sorry, but FB was the only one to gain from it.
