If I was in any kind of relationship I would want there to be equal team partnership between me and the other person.

I'm not the kind of person who wants to control relationships or be in charge of things I'm more laid back, if the guy wants to be alpha then I let him believe he's in charge, but usually it's just a mutual respect and equal relationship. But yes I do tend to be with confident, head-strong guys usually so I guess they are more 'in charge' than me..

Since I do everything around the house include bring in the income I guess I would say I am the Alpha by default.

We are equal partners. This is the best way to have a workable and satisfying relationship based on mutual respect. I appreciate and respect my partner enough to share responsibilities with her.

I prefer a man to take charge.
Besides, I just don't have an Alpha personality, I've always been more on the passive and submissive side but please note this does not equal being a doormat, as I am not a doormat.

Although I will say in the few relationships I have been in they always expect me to be an Alpha... which is weird considering I have no idea how they get that impression of me. It's almost like because I'm a loner that they think I'm more dominating because I'm used to being alone and functioning alone (independent). Which is not the case at all I might add, seems kinda like a stereotype to me.

Yeah I really don't get it. But either way, I simply don't have the take-charge personality when it comes to relationships. Not that it's a bad thing, I'm quite happy with this fact, i just wish other people would either stop assuming I'm secretly a dominating bitch or assuming I'm actually a doormat. Passive and submissive doesn't make you a doormat, just ask every person whose ass I've ever kicked when they treated me like I was. =D

I like to think of us as equal but I let him think that he is. It's part of my game plan. :)
