In your opinion, what's the most effective form of birth control?

No one wants to have sex with a person who wears crocs.

Abstinence sooner or later leads to having sex with the first person who'd agree to have sex with you.

Crocs are one huge turn off!

A real turn off alright.. The orange ones in particular.

By far. If you wear Crocs all the time, day and night, even in the shower, you can be sure no one will ever want to bang you! Except this turtle. And human/turtle babies are impossible so....we've got to start passing these out in schools! Crocs-only education! The teen pregnancy rate will drop to 0%!



(In all seriousness, abstinence with perfect use is of course the most effective, but since we are humans, with normal use it's about as effective as crossing your fingers. Condoms + birth control pills FTW.)

Of course not doing the nasty works; except with those pesky toilet seats. But for a method that involves some mechanics, aspirin seems to work best!

But the oral contraception is good too. Unfortunately not everyone can take the pill, so it makes the choices narrower.

That's so true! I couldn't! Dangit!

I can't use the oral ones anymore either. I ended up with a mass on my liver, so the doctor pulled me off of them. So now I have to be very careful in the future even though I'm 47 years old. I haven't gone through the menopause stage yet. So there's always a chance I could get pregnant if I don't watch. And let's face it, not all men are going to use condoms. The majority of them won't. It used to be you could get your tubes tied by the time you get to around my age. But thanks to these women who are having children way past the stage they SHOULD be having them, the rest of us can't get our tubes tied or whatever unless we have a life threatening disease of our female organs.

I'm in a similar situation... too old to go through that birthing crap, but not quite at the menopause cusp. It sucks! *Hate it*! We work around it, but it's a total p.i.t.a.

You got that right. As it happens I'm not attached right now anyway. Just as well. I've been through so many jerks it isn't funny. When and if a GOOD guy comes around, THEN I'll think about it.

Right! However, sex education will help those engaging in sex, especially teenagers, to know all the consequences and responsibilities that come with having sex.

I think most people and teenagers know all of that, it's what they do with that education that's the important thing.

I agree. Making sure they have all the right information does not, of course, mean they won't have sex. Those racing hormones of teenagers aren't very reasonable.
