I'm going to be waiting in the hospital for an extended period of time later today. Any recommendations on how to pass the time?

My grandmother is going in for major surgery later today and while she's under my family and I are going to be waiting there in case something happens. I really need a distraction during that time and I'm not exactly sure what to do... Any advice?

Who is the patient You or some other person, a hospital yes it is a encyclopedia of study, keep your eyes wide open keep a close watch at all the Doctors, Nurses,Wardboys+Girls, you will be in a position to write books on that. Sky is the Limit.

Bring a paperback book or two to pass the time while you're awake... they usually don't allow smartphones or games.
