Well..if you need to stop a bad habit..now is the time..as you get older, it'll be more difficult..not to mention other social/physical/mental and other problems that might crop up..

I struggle with drinking problems as well. I will get sober for a month or so and then just get right back in it. It doesn't help that all of my friends drink as well. I think I just need to find a hobby and be stronger. Drinking can kill you in the long run. Why haven't we legalized marijuana yet? When I smoke that I never want to drink and it helps with my medical disorder.

Just start over. If your sobriety is very important to you, try AA. I know it sounds cheesy but I got a lot of healing done and the people were great.

Now that you have admitted what happen. Get back up dust your self off and begin again. My father-in-law took 3 years to get it right. The last time when he told us what happened, I was holding his grandson and told him to get it straight I don't want to bring his grandson to the cemetery to see grandpa. then 2 weeks later my dad died from complications of Leukemia. That really scared him. He has been sober for 6 years. YOU CAN DO THIS HUN!! We are all behind ya!! :)

Been down that road myself, you need a Sponsor. Get to your closest AA as soon as you can. They have meetings every night, wouldn't hurt to visit a NA, meeting, too. Between the two, you should be able to find a Sponsor. I wish you the best of luck.
    Have a nice day !

15 and drinking? I outta slap you and your mother.
Drinking will get you no where, take it from a guy who went sober around the time you did.
It's going to be hella hard and sometimes you're gonna want to give in, but it's a world of difference when you give it up.
Hell, now that I gave it up, I can have a drink with a friend or two and not go overboard because they're looking out for me.
You just gotta take it one step at a time.

You already know that if you feed a craving that you're trying to tame sometimes you go overboard.... only one thing to do.. go get the gun.. desperate times call for desperate measures... get the gun... find someone and make them a part of your support system... then we start over 1 min at a time.

You can put the gun away... it wasn't supposed to be loaded anyway and it'll never be your solution. Lol

Ok...you think I'm making too light of it? It's serious but its not the end of the world... either way it goes the process is the same...we can cry and start the count all over.... or we can be good humored about it and start over. :-)).....how about a smile

When you are ready to get back on the wagon, you will know. Only you can make that choice. Then you start back at day one and move forward. It will not be easy, but, then again, most worthwhile things seldom are easy. Good luck

If you were that disappointed then you would have stopped at some point instead of coming on sodahead and posting about it. I say stop the poor me crap and stop drinking if it's a problem. Nobody to blame but yourself.
