You know, if I cared about someone who wasn't a citizen, I would consider marrying them so they could stay. . .But there's a big difference between loving another person & illegals making their way into the country just to get the benefits and take our jobs. There is a process in place to obtain citizenship for a reason. . .

People do what they want and do what they have to do to get what they want.

I don't believe the problem is marriage to become a citizen. But rather the abuse of our system by aliens, both legal and illegal that is taking probably Billions of tax $ away from us tax paying legal citizens. I married a foreigner while she was here on a business visa. It took us at least twelve 500 mile round trips for her to get a green card after 2 yrs and finally citizenship after 7 yrs. During that time, she never drew a single $ from either federal or state govt to help cover any costs. While others use their immigrant status to get lower tax rates and credits, free health care, free education, food stamps, housing vouchers, low interest loans to start small businesses, that compete unfairly with US citizen owned businesses. So the problem is two fold. Secure our borders from illegal immigration, and close loopholes and laws that favor immigrants over legal US citizens.

i think part of the problem is the EDUCATION factor....you mentioned immigrants.....if immigrants are coming to this country, getting an education, it will be a bit tougher for natural born citizens to compete with immigrants from other countries who are getting American educations/government loans.....there is the addage here in Texas that a lady said to me, "we are taking the jobs that Americans dont want" and really....maybe the education also?? 2012.

That could be very true. Education is much coveted in many foreign countries, where as our liberal leaning system does little to improve or even instill this desire in US families. The teacher's unions are more interested in getting more benefits and retirements for teachers than worry about a better education system for our children.

Africa is called “the Black continent” EVERY DAY. But nobody is saying “Africa is not a Black continent! There is no Black country!”

China is called “the Yellow giant” EVERY DAY. But nobody is saying “Asia is not a Yellow country! There is no Yellow country!”

Israel is called “the Jewish State” EVERY DAY. But nobody is saying “Israel is not a Jewish State! There is no Jewish State!”

Anti-Whites like YOU complain ONLY when EVERY White country and ONLY White countries are called “a White country”.

You say you are anti-racist. What you are is anti-White.
    Anti-racist is a code word for anti-White.

TRUE. Even AFRICA has whites i think in Northern Africa.....i think that is because of the former "apartheid" that they talked about in the news media here in the United States. I wonder how thats working out for them?

If two people want to marry then that is ok with me. If the reason is illegal immigration then so be it.

So is the invasion of illegal immigrants that are breaking our laws and destroying our economy. Let's take away one avenue of bypassing our laws and see if the wetbacks are willing to pay the price of a fast tracked admission.

well i think illegal immigrants might possibly be "escaping" from their life in whatever country they originated from, or just trying to survive, or are on the, "run" as they say? who knows for sure.

Or they could be Drug Runners, Criminals looking for fertile territory, or opportunist that know we are ripe for the picking! It doesn't matter! We are a nation of laws and that means those that break them should be punished.

Donning it the legal way is so much better than climbing a fence to just get into a ghetto.

I know some people who have been here legally for many years and are still patiently waiting for the glacial slow process to obtain Citizenship while they see others, who are also legally here be processed around, and before, them. It seems to be obvious that the whole process has much room for improvement, and that has absolutely nothing to do with jobs or marriage, and whether someone is legally here or not.

Just because you marry a Citizen does not make you a citizen, that should be understood by everyone, since I noticed that you brought Citizenship into the question, when it is not directly related to this issue, as I said Citizenship can be a very long and unpleasant wait for even the most patient of us, in the best of circumstances.

I definitely agree, the system (the government) is fatally flawed. . . And in a sense, we're all immigrants to some degree (or our ancestors were) so I understand that people still want to come here and attain the opportunity for a life of liberty and happiness. I don't know if there's a quick way of staying here if you aren't a citizen, unless you marry a citizen, or attain employment by someone who will do what it takes to keep you here. . . but perhaps if the gov't could spend more time accepting people as legal citizens, rather than chasing down those who are just coming here illegally, maybe that process would go faster??
