To God, family and my true friends. I just did this recently when my son was very very sick. Prayers were sent by so many friends and family, God listened to them and he is so much better, not totally well, but looks good he will be given time.

Kinda depends on the situation. I'd say that most of the time I'd turn to my family though. I mean MY family, not my in-laws, who are very judgmental and gossipy.
