If you wear a Purity ring, what hand do you wear it on left ring finger like the Jonas Brothers or right ring finger like Selena Gomez?

i dont think it rly matters which hand u put the ring on! as long as you r proud 2 wear a purity ring, u can wear it everywhere if u like! some ppl wear it on a necklace, some people on their left hand and other on their right hand... i wear mine on my left hand.

your supposed to put it on your left hand ring finger cuz when u get married thats where you put ur engagement ring and u pretty much just switch them out cuz u would be pure anymore unce you get married

I am 13 yrs old and I decided it should be the left hand, because you are making a commitment to God regarding abstaining from any immoral, sexual or impure act before marriage. My mom told me it has to be my decision, and once in a while she would ask if I was interested or ready for a commitment like this. When I made my decision she took me shopping for a ring. We don't have a lot of money and mom is on disability, and even though the ring didn't cost a lot, it was everything we had at the time (which was tonight). I went on line to learn how it is supposed to be worn. There are different opinions, but in the end my mom said it best. Traditionally, it is the left hand to remind you of your promise to God. When you marry, the ring that replaces it is to remind you of your promise to God and to your spouse. But in the end she believed that you Honor God, no matter which hand it is on - and I don't believe in judging others for a choice they made for God- which is to be celebrated anyway.

i am 13 too and i got a purity ring too mine didn't cost a lot either but has a bible passage on the ring and raps around inside it it says "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you, and not to harm you plans to give you hope and a future"-Jer 29:11 When I first got the ring I put it on my right hand ring finger but I thought about it all day wether I should wear it on my left ring finger or right so I went online and everybody was saying how you should wear it on your left hand ring finger and when you get married you replace it with your wedding ring and I was a little undecided still but then I read your comment and I knew I would wear it on my left hand. Because you wear a purity ring to promise that you will stay "pure" till marriage so the idea is that your wedding ring replaces the purity ring.

You should wear it on your left hand ring finger because you are promising god just like you promise your husband/wife when you merry them.

I wear mine in the right finger....I think it actually doesnt matter about the place you wear it on...the only thing that matters it that u a committing on the promise
