Spokesman for the company say it's some kind of polymeric material that got into the storage tanks at the Whiting Indiana fuel storage terminal.The gas probably shipped out to gas stations between August 13th and 17th.If your experiencing problems it could cost you $400 to $1000 dollars to drain the gas out,get the injectors cleaned,and the fuel system. Hopefully the drivers that have screwed up engines as a result of the gas will be reimbursed by BP for the repairs.reply -
Don't know but,the residue sinks to the bottom and the driver never knows until it till it's to late.reply
