+1K F C could take a lesson form you ; i don't have the space to do that kind of baking ; how's your noodles ?reply - FeedFwd Hirnung... 2012/06/13 20:02:25
I have no pasta maker, so my noodles are store bought, I'm afraid. Now gravy/sauce (like marinara, pesto, alfredo, etc) and accompaniments (like meatballs, sausage, etc) are another story. I haven't delved into Asian noodles, although I will have them occasionally when eating out. I don't eat out much except during business travel and to give my wife a break. We both like to cook and enjoy home cooking from scratch better than the alternatives.reply - Sybil FeedFwd 2012/06/13 22:49:51

+1The best I ever had was on a boat that serviced oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. I had a summer job with them on the Harvey Canal in the summers when I was in college. We didn't go offshore on the boats, but sand-blasted, painted, and helped the welders repair marine equipment in the yard. We worked 12 - 10 hour days with every other weekend off and got to eat breakfast and lunch on the boats. Man those guys knew how to cook!reply - Jim in SC 2012/06/13 00:38:09YA, I do+7They're so good they'll make a puppy pull a freight train.reply
