If you have ever used AT&T U-Verse, and had to call in for service, does it seem to you that you cannot seem to get your point across to the tech, no matter how often they put you on hold?

Today, I had to call in to find out why the technician never came out for our new service. It took three different people to talk to in order to explain my U-Verse conundrum, but still not one of them could tell me why the technician ever came out. Sure it was a self-install, but I don't understand why I didn't get a call that the technician was not coming out to fix our phone lines.

I feel that they avoid the questions they don't want to answer in order to make the company look good. What are your thoughts about AT&T; technicians not answering the pointed questions you ask them?
