That's easy. I'd rather be blind than deaf, but mute is a piece of cake. Most people I know would be happy if I finally shut the f--- up after all these years!
In a heart beat....I sing (not profesionaly...but it pretty much encompases my life) If I were deaf I would have a really hard time singing....and if I were mute...well...that ones a duh...lol....so I have to go with blind.
You left out "none of the above" which would be my choice. Why, by the way, would you pose such a discriminating, and, in my opinion, a morbid question? Are you uncomfortable with people who have disabilities?
Plus it would be cool to communicate through notes all the time.I would write a note to someone i don't like, it would say in big letters....
"you are a douch bag"
If I couldn't talk, that would kill me. Also, if I were blind and couldn't take care of myself or drive would be bad. So, the lessor of the three evils would be being deaf to me.
If one of your senses is taken away, it makes the other so much stronger. I think any of the above would be horrible, but as long as I am alive to enjoy what I have left- I would still feel blessed.
I can not choose! That is horrible..
I need my hearing, I really love to listen!
I need my vision, I love to watch!
I need my voice, I love to sing, talk, whisper, scream etc.
If you can actually pick one, you must think the others are worse. The only person that could chose one over another is a person that has one of the three. THEY ALL SUCK! and are all equally shity! but from a comical point of veiw, deaf, so i don't have to hear all the lies that are being said by, well.... EVEYRONE!
i pick deaf because i have leardn asl and its a very interesting language and my experience was COOL when i was learning.. thanks to ma teacher... and i really think that it would be cool if i was deaf...i would kno how to deal with it...:)
To me....because of my job....and because of my gift....and because of whom I have become.....they are equal in what they're able to do in my life.
True ...you would have to adapt and cater to your other senses....but in some arenas of life.....well....I'm just grateful I have all faculties working.
We utilize them so much and when you put things in prospective.....oh man....not to have one of them....well....I am grateful. (smiling)
We do what we must to make it happen for ourselves.....but if suddenly we didn't have one.... like taking for granted the little toe and how much it brings balance to your walk.
It really is the LITTLE things in life ...that can make a HUGE difference.
i'd say mute even though it would mean giving up singing, and I wouldn't want to be deaf because that would mean giving up music and all the thing that matter.
That is a very hard decision. All are so important. But, if I had to choose, it would be mute. I don't know even if that would be a proper choice. Because in my opinion when you are neither of these, then lets be greatful we are healthy and have all our senses.
If I wanted to maintain my job i'd have to have both my hearing and my eyesight. I would miss music alot too and I'm an artists so I really need my eyes because I luv color.

I can imagine visual beauty myself. I need help with the music. And I can't see behind me, but I can hear anything that's sneaking up. I'd be real paranoid if I couldn't hear. But that's just me.

Thank you Lord.

So yes...I am VERY grateful. (smiling)
Thanks for your comment. (smiling)
If I couldn't say what I needed to I would just explode.
I answered backwards I guess. But to clarify I would rather of the 3 choices I would choose to be deaf I could see to read lips and to sign language.
