If you don't believe in God, if God showed himself to you, would you worship Him?

I think that I came to a conclusion: there will be those who claim God doesn't exist and don't believe in Him, and if they were given a chance to be shown God's power and glory and hear His voice, they would still not follow Him. Therefore, it's purposeless for these if they believe or not, they wouldn't worship Him either way.
Take care, Hopefully I'm wrong in my thinking that many would be like this.

"But Jesus (Yeshua), said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching." Mark 6:4-6

Of course not your god merely existing only further proves other gods could also easily be real it also doesn't prove he did anything he said or even did anything. Besides if half the bible is fact most people I'd like would be in hell anyways lol.

If that's the same God that wants me in hell for being a homosexual, then no, I don't think I would worship him. But if the penalty for not worshipping him is eternity in hell, then I don't think I have much of a choice, do I?

There is always a choice. Doesn't mean that your choice will result in something good. To Worship God is with all thy heart and all thy might and all thy soul. This is the worship that God requires. It can't be faked.

Haven't I talked to you about the nature of space and time before? LOL. You seem familiar.

But back to the topic: God wants us to love everyone and to love with a pure love. I think you are conflating Love with sex. It's a sin to have sex with the same-sex. And simply having sex with the same sex doesn't guarantee your soul to hell, you can always repent. It's the continue defiance to the Word of God which dooms your soul which could be saved.

God created man and woman to be companions and this was His purpose. To have sex with another man in such a way defiles His Mighty Purpose. If you disagree with the righteousness of this, that is your choice. But it is logical to me: at least, this is how I see it.

Take care, :) I'm not going to bother you with my preachy messages. Just wanted to express myself in a response.

Yes, I have heard the anti-homosexuality spiel before. But unless you are me and unless you know what I feel for my boyfriend, then you can't tell me that I don't love him. My love for him is as personal as your relationship with God. I can tell you that when you experience God it's all in your head and it isn't real, but you will turn right around and tell me that is false. This is really no different.

well, I think I will stop reading at spiel and leave it at that :)

You are free to choose whatever you wish. I really don't know the exact reason behind the sin, nor do I wish to question God. I have respect and honor and love from the deepest parts of my heart for Him. He has even sacrificed His only Son so we wouldn't have to go to Hell. If there are people who still wants to deny God and not show him the love that he deserves, then they will meet with consequences.

I don't have any hatred for gays or anyone else: so I wish you well. I really do:)

Sometimes, it feels like non-believers are only using no proof as an excuse not to follow God, and if given the chance to have proof, they would keep their sentiments.

    Take care, sigh.

That's hard to say. Mind reading is a talent that only God has. I'll tell them how I feel and argue with them if need be. Then I'll pray for them and let God do the rest.

Indeed. People always feel like I'm judging when I'm stating emotions and thoughts. Furthermore, this question is purposed to the individual, not to someone else that wouldn't know his heart :P

There's nothing wrong with posing a question to get people to think.
