I would never change it.The Greek flag has a very special meaning. The nine horizontal stripes represent the nine syllables from "Eleutheria H Thanatos" meaning "Freedom or Death",the five blue stripes is for Freedom and the four white ones for Death. This phrase was said during the War of Independence against the Ottoman empire so it has a very historic and deep meaning for us.

Chartered a sailboat out of Pearaeas. Spetses was my favorite of the islands we saw. Beauty, history, loved it all.

I'm a American and there's been to much blood,sweat,and tears poured into my Countries flag to change it.Way to many men and women died to protect the flag and what it stands for.God bless the Red,White,and Blue!
