What is wrong with the world isn't limited to our centers of government, faith, or learning. It is in the hearts and minds of the people. All of these other things are merely extensions of what exists in society as a whole. Only by fixing what is wrong in ourselves en masse can there ever be any true and lasting change in our institutions. Unfortunately since people generally tend to cling to the notion, "there isn't anything wrong with me". It's always "all of them". That change will never happen. And as the population gets larger, the divisions become broader and the problem compounds exponentially.

The U.S. and the world would be much better off if we would eliminate the federal government from everything except defense against all foreign and domestic enemies. This would include protecting our borders from illegal aliens, communists, Muslims, and racists. The world should also understand we are not the world police, but God help the world if they decide they want a piece of us.

I totally disagree....my bosses are greedy all by themselves and continually look for ways around Government laws. Which they are quite successful at. Their interest and their business associates operate from their own personal greed. Government does not have anything to do with their desire to succeed. It's more money, bigger houses, more expensive cars, etc.

LMAO That is not what I said at all. Entrepeneurs are essential for this country but it's all about how it is done. I've worked for my bosses for over 20 years. It's not jealousy at all. I do however, see how they purchase personal properties, go on expensive vacations, remodel their homes and cabins, buying expensive vehicles, jewelry and gifts, supporting their girlfriends (which their wives do not know about), even paying for their own dry cleaning, while writing them all off as a company expense. They decreased wages of the field employees, while increasing their own salaries by 500%. Their actions are not honorable, they are criminal. If I were jealous as you say, or vendictive, I would have turned the evidence over to the IRS years ago landing them both in jail. Instead I simply witness their actions and those of other business associates, knowing that business owners have severe character defects. I've been working on a payroll since I was 16 and babysat, housesat, petsat, for friends and neighbors long before that. I've never been on public assistance or even unemployment at anytime in my life. So stop with the gimmee BS because you don't have a clue of what you're talking about.

Government is the only tool we have - particularly the American constitution, and the Bill of Rights - both following the Magna Carta.

You don't abandon government - you have the balls to do the work the Founding Fathers EXPECTED you to do with the amazing tool they left us - work to overturn the Citizens United decision, and wrest our government out of the hands of the military industrialists, for whom war is great for business, and for whom the American worker, his family and his community are disposable commodities in the way of their profit margine.
