It seems to me religion is only for credulous people. Followers will always say, "You just have to have faith" meaning to me you just have to be a credulous sucker.

That being said... Judgment Day and the end of the world as we know it will happen on May 21, 2011, will you be..... wait what? ... that date has already passed? That must of just been a test... and we aced it... alright lets say the real deal will now be five months later .... the end of the world now will be October 21, 2011 and it won't be a test...Bwaahaha... I mean true believes will be saved. ;P
Though the bibles says no one will know the time or date.... hmmm... bible or some guy who's been proven wrong twice now? .. hmmm ? :P
My point being some people believe... some people don't.... who's right? does it matter? .. I don't know...

To find God, you have to take that leap of faith, and seek him. I see or don't see him in everyone. That glow of fulfilment that makes a man's confidence stand apart of others is the Light of God.
Your question itself is credulous, you make assumptions about 2.1billion people who define themselves as Christian or the approximately 5 billion people in the world including Christians who define themselves as being religious.
