I wouldnt care...I've been married 3 times. No weddings, just a civil ceremony with a few close friends and family present. I'm not into children or having mutual property, and my bank account is always kept separate. If this one doesnt work out for some unforeseen reason, then that's it for me! It's his or her life, and I'd just wish them the best. I guess because I dont live a "traditional' lifestyle, that's the reason why I dont make a big issue out of certain things...

Sometimes that happens, you have to be careful. They usually side with their men don't they. Bummer. I had an Aunt that we knew this wasn't a good idea, was a train wreck, everybody saw it coming but her. She still speaks to us but if she had just listened we could have saved her alot of heartache, financial stability, mental health, criminal record now from DUI's,...credit score, I could go on all day, reputation in church, professional standing, career, whole life out of control. Set her on a path of self destruction that has taken a horrible toll on her entire family.

Advise them, some folks are just meant to be part of the "Wedding Party", not the actual groom or bride.................. I am of the opinion, after two strikes, forget about it. Some people like the idea of marriage, but have no concept of what it takes to accomplish such a task. Four, five attempts, seems a bit ridiculous to me. imho~~

If they seem annoyed by your reaction, I would tell them you have grown tired of being dragged into their wedding nightmares........Perhaps they should look in the mirror, and state how many times they have made the comment, Til death............ UGH!

Maybe she is the type that continues to pick the same type......... In my years of counseling folks, I have found that, some just can't break the cycle, and unfortunately they spend decades going through the same pattern, in relationships.

I have a friend who is on her 4th or 5th... I have lost track! Oddly her parents have been married for over 50 years. Her sister went through 4 too. Strange.. :+(

I hope they go to Vegas to tie the knot because I am not attending the wedding or buying a present. A nice dinner with friends when they come home is OK.

I'd wonder if, perhaps, they had confused "dating" with being "married". Maybe they just don't get the concept??!! If the person is my friend, I still go to the wedding, but take it with a grain of salt. It's not for me to tell someone else what to do.
