I could smoke it now legally if I want!

I hate feeling dumb and numb. I smoked in high school but never liked it.

I believe I have more brains then to take DOPE.They call it that for a reason.

Besides killing your brain cells off one @ a time and being against the law, it's gross. When I see others doing it, one word comes to mind: stupid. Okay, there are other words.. lol.... but that's the main one that sticks out - :P

You have got that right! I carry i list of prescription drugs with me that
would kill me if they gave them to me. I have made more than one trip
to the ER to realize this.

Allergic to a lot of prescription drugs so I am lucky to only need 4 prescriptions & I am trying to work on getting rid of 2 of them.

Been there done that. Got older not old. There's more out to see and feel great instead of being high then sick afterwards. See I'd like to scratch a pretty womens back while were watching TV instead of being drunk. Simple but real.

I worked with a couple of pot smokers on construction jobs. in their words, they "like a few tokes during the day to take the edge off" (whatever that means...). They didn't see it but I did; they became a couple of fu**-ups for the rest of the work day.

In some cases it can be used for medical reasons. Under a doctors direction, I can understand that. In perhaps 99% of it's use however, it is used as a mind-altering substance. I don't get that. Are people's lives so pathetic that they have to dope up and numb themselves? Go get a hobby.... learn to fish, parachute, kayak river rapids, read some books for crying out loud. Man, go play a new video game. I just don't see any benefit to doping up.

Besides, what will you do when your employer asks for a urine sample? I value my job so I can afford to go fishing, parachuting and kayaking, etc.

I can't see a need to legalize a drug that causes anyone to not be responsible for their action......There was a case in South Carolina where two grown men were partaking in the smoking of Marijuana and two 12 year old girs were waiting for their mom to pick them up from a skating party. The men saw them and kidnapped them and took them to a remote area . One girl escaped but the other was raped repeatedly but when the kidnappers went to sleep she escaped and went to a house and the men were arrested.THEIR EXCUSE..WE WERE SMOKING POT. So now the girl lives with the horror of that night forever. Never legalize a drug to satisfy the minority who wants it legalized so they won't have to obey the law. Crap is all it is

Even when I was a kid and all my 'friends were doing it,' I couldn't see the attraction for it. Yeah, I tried it- but it was just gross, even as a kid. blehhh

My sister tried it, and unbalanced her brain! She suffered from Bi Polar Disorder for most of her life. I have a son who has the very same problem from the very same cause.

If I could afford it. I smoked a lot in my younger years, but quit because it was harder for me to find as I got older, and cost more that I could afford to pay.

If it was legal I might try it to help relieve some of the ghost pain I get in my residual limb. The Veterans administration issues a book for amputees that states Marajuana is a good source for ghost pain relief.

Come on Congress make it legal, then Obama could smoke it outside the Oval Office. (no smoking allowed in federal buildings)

As I have a couple of chronic pain medical conditions and I know for a fact that it works better than the drugs and probably safer for me too...as for recreational, no.

Same here....It's like the cure is worst than the ill.....So what? Let the cure kill me first!?!?!? WTF!?!?!?! Let me make my own decision legally.
