    No, it wont...temps drop at a scientific rate, proportionate to heat/cold ratio. The differences between refrigerator & freezer are not enough.

    To speed seting, use ice cubes to replace 1/2 liquid, when mixing...ie, boiling water to dissolve, than ice for rest...this will allow a more rapid drop in temp, due higher heat cold difference & ratio...hope that helps!

    Oh if you put in freezer a bit AFTER using ice...that'll help a little, because you've already rapidly dropped the temp., but watch, I CAN freeze, before it hardens. And when it thaws it goes back to liquid! ;-D
    and BTW...smaller portions harden faster, too
    Shooters are SUPER fast when made w/ice!

    MY MOM USED TO ADD ICE CUBES (INSTEAD OF COLD WATER) TO THE HOT JELLO UNTIL IT DISSOLVED, THEN PUT IT INTO THE FREEZER TO CHILL, (BUT NOT SO LONG THAT IT WOULD FREEZE.) ....GREAT GRANDMA

    Yes, you just need to watch it. Next time you make jello, substitute ice cubes instead of cold water. It works faster that way.
