Just recently in my area, a biker participating in a ride to protest helmet laws, was killed in a wreck. He died from head injuries. You can't protect fools from themselves.
Lobbying power. I've no problem with people not wearing helmets if they have no problem with my ignoring their injuries, not paying for their stupidity with my tax dollars. IF they don't have medical insurance, push 'em over by the roadkill.
YES....Good drivers indeed have to pay for the bad drivers out there....thats how the insurance business works I would NEVER drive or ride in a car without a seatbelt, nor would I ever drive a motorcycle without a helmet ....when it comes to a seatbelt, if everyone understood PHYSICS,,,NO ONE would ever drive without a seatbelt.
