I really don't know but my feeling is that they are basically confused about their sexuality. They might be "gay", but some of them might still have a little bit of attraction to women at the same time without actually acting on it. Boy George is a good example. He's by all accounts gay according to sources, and he always had that part male, part female look about him. On him it doesn't seem to cause a problem. It's "normal" for him, and since I'm used to seeing him that way I think nothing of it when I see him. That's a good question though because I've always wondered that myself.

How does a real man act exactly? There are all different types of straight men. Nice, mean, loud, quiet, outgoing, introverted, stuck up, humble, egotistical... Everyone is different. Why would you assume people wouldn't want to do what makes them happy?
