Domino's is attempting to reinvent their brand as an artisan pizza house, putting their pizzaiolas in the spotlight. But can the company ever change its fast-food type vibe?
The LA Times reports that: "Domino's eateries will begin to incorporate comfortable lobby areas as well as ordering kiosks and boards that track to-go orders electronically. Customers will be able to draw or leave feedback on chalk boards placed around the stores, which may also feature big-screen televisions."
Their logo is also getting a facelift, with the noticeable change being the removal of the word "pizza". Their justification for this, is that their menu encompasses way more than pizza, including cheesy sticks, bread bites, bread sticks, cinnamon bread sticks and more.

The Domino's transformation continues. In keeping with the company's evolution into "artisanal" pizza making, the facade will now match, well, the facade.

WWZ Captain 2012/08/18 16:01:34Yes+8I clicked NO, on top of having flat out horrible food, every image I have of DOMINOS is this video...

The quality was sub par. The bread doughy, not toasty at all, in spite of being in the oven and the filling was a joke. Because I wasn't going to over eat and planned to have the second sandwitch the next day, I examined it after eating the first. It was the beef. I have a food scale at home. Wow, it had exactly 3 ounces of grissly over cooked chewy beef I wouldn't feed to a starving junk yard dog. The "cheese" was all but invisible, melted to the point it was melted into the bread which is probably why it tasted greasy. The "toppings" were a few commical tiny thin slices of green pepper and some onion. The peppers still half raw, not roasted. The onions must have been sitting around for a week.
I'm in the Chicago area and it has scores of really good mom and pop fast food joints that put the national chains to shame. For the same price I could have had a extra large Italian beef, over half a pound of tender...

I'm in the Chicago area and it has scores of really good mom and pop fast food joints that put the national chains to shame. For the same price I could have had a extra large Italian beef, over half a pound of tender well seasoned juisy beef, two huge slices of perfectly roasted peppers on a crusty roll plus a ton of fries, a 20 oz drink and still get charge from a $10 bill.
f Domino's goes belly-up tomorrow I couldn't care less. RIP OFF and then some.
Not a plug, but Portillos is a local GOOD food joint. A read cheese burger and beef

I'm a 9 hour flight from Chicago. Click this link if you want to be tortured by food you can't have right now" is more like it. :D
ROUND TABLE WINS
Conclusion: They hire retards to work at Domino's who haven't yet learned first grade math.
Besides, it would actually be "2 for $11.98" so put that in your pipe and smoke it.
:P
Plenty of other places do it right.
1.) My boyfriend (who loves Pizza Hut/ Dominoes) is over.
2.) There's no one home that can drive me to a grocery store and I need a sweet fix. (It's literally the ONLY take out places in my area that sell desserts >:(((!)
I used to live in NY... the pizza is what needs improving, not the "lobby area".
