Of course not! sex isn't as great as some people like to claim, and maybe they're just waiting for the right person to come along, that's what we all should be doing. Not just sleeping with whoever or thinking that virgins are any less popular or attractive than they really are

No, but a lot of things I find morally objectionable would lead women to choose virginity at a time and place and age where it is largely an outdated, misogynistic concept to place any kind of moral value on it.

I understand and I agree to a point. They were cruel to non virgin women in earlier times, however some ppl just have a naturally low sex drive and don't want to have sex. *shrugs* It is a medley of reasons for me..

Hell, they still *are* in many churches and in many parts of the world. You're very lucky if you have not heard of the "purity" culture that has a hold on Evangelical and Fundamentalist Christian Churches.

And if you pay much attention to "Pro-Life" arguments, you'll find a very, very mean-spirited and nasty view of women who have sex and who are not married. Sometimes even vindictive.

Sounds like you might be describing something like demisexuality then or possibly asexuality. *shrug* Love is love though, so good luck if you can find it.

Many Christians are hypocritical and cruel, although I am not Evangelical. I have also heard of the purity pop culture movement. Good point, people are still cruel to them, but they are becoming more and more accepted and the reverse is happening, virgins are becoming "lame".
