It's well known that when a man asks his partner out for a date he picks up the tab for dinner, a movie, etc. What about when it's the other way around and the woman calls her love interest and invites him to go out on a date? If a woman calls her love interest and asks him out on a date should he still have to take care of the expenses?

I have always offered to pay even if i didnt ask the guy out. if we go to dinner and a movie, i pay for the movie and he pays for dinner or vice versa

I might sound like a "pig" here, but...but please don't read into this anymore than what's on the surface....When women wanted voting rights, they fought for them. When women wanted equal pay, they fought for them. When women want a man, they expect him to do everything??? sounds like "cake and eating it to"...
I believe if a woman asks, then she should "expect" to pay. Doesn't mean the guy won't offer, but she should NOT EXPECT HIM to pay.
I almost always pay for my dates. Even if she asked me out. If on those occasions, I don't see her "digging for her card", I'll still probably pay, but I may not want to go out with her again.....

IF I ASKED A GUY OUT I WOULD SAY I HAVE TO PAY, AND IF HE IS A GOOD GUY AND DECIDEDS TO END UP PAYING ANYWAYS HE WOULD BE A KEEPER, BUT IF I END UP NOT BEING INTERESTED IN HIM I WOULD SPLIT THE BILL, AND IF HE DINT OFFER TO PAY OR AT LEAST SPLIT I WOULD SPLIT OUT OF THERE AND LEAVE HIM TO PAY.
