What is the difference between poison and venom?
If you drink venom, will it kill you?
Poisons are substances that are toxic (cause harm) if swallowed or inhaled. Venoms are generally not toxic if swallowed, and must be injected under the skin (by snakes, spiders, bees etc.) into the tissues that are normally protected by skin in order to be toxic. However, we do NOT recommend drinking venom!

not true. venom can effect the nervous system causing paralysis absorbed through digestive organs. one cup of 100% unknown venom? you'd take that chance unknowingly? lots of humans are effected by foreign allergies, and died.

My bad. I guess the snake experts I was listening to on the history ch. were high that day, or wait maybe I was. People can have different reaction though and die from the simplest things too. I know I want to die every time my wife farts..lol
