As the weather starts getting warmer, we usually start thinking about two things: iced tea and beer. And now, we can have them in the same can. Molson Coors Brewing Co is launching Coors Light Iced Tea, meant to appeal to drinkers who prefer the taste of wine or cocktails rather than beer.
Coors Light Iced Tea will go on sale first in Canada, where consumers supposedly like flavored beer, Molson executives said. Other new products include Carling Zest, a limited-time-only beer with citrus flavors and an autumn-inspired Leinenkugels beer.
But as much as we like iced tea ... and beer ... something seems a bit off about putting the two together. We would definitely try one at a summer barbecue though. How about you? Do you think the idea of an iced tea-flavored beer is gross -- or great?

It's just that after all these centuries of brewing beer if it was meant to taste good it would. Nope, beer tastes exactly how it’s supposed to taste. I had a froe froe beer at a microbrewery once called a cyclist; Best damn beer I ever tasted. I would have been cool w/that but I took a quick scan around the microbrew and all persons male or female had a mug of whatever swills except those people… those whom shall remain known merely as “the holier than thou people". They were jamming on the Cyclist beers so it’s not like that beer alone would remain undrawn. I switched for my favorite beer since age 16 immediately, Lite Beer by Miller. It tastes great!
When I have a beer, I want to enjoy it. It's a treat. I guess it would be different if I were having 17. The only thing worse than Coors is lite beer. Blech.
'Rollin down the street
Smokin Indo
Sippin Bud light with lime'
not very Gangsta to me.
As for light beer. I enjoy the beer diet, after 6 regular strength beers, I don't care what I look like. Problem solved.
