+1I don't wear a seat belt, except when I'm in another state. The police in our state aren't that picky about seat belts, for the most part. When I was a cop, I watched a man burn alive. When we got the fire put out, they only thing we could find keeping him in the wrecked pickup was his seat belt. It should be a personal choice.reply - USV 2011/08/21 06:21:21
+1Seatbelts are mandatory in the UK, but I use them as an automatic reaction when I drive my car, and always have done. Maybe it should be made mandatory as in the whole of Europe. When it becomes law it becomes accepted and people get so used to using them that driving without them becomes unusual.reply - Chukroast 2011/08/21 06:01:09
+1When it comes to seat belts it's wise to (a) follow the law and (b) follow the statistics. There's a much higher probability you'll receive fewer serious injuries if you're wearing a seat belt than if you're not.reply
