I like the idea of a third party because of what has happened to the Republicans in DC. They have been co-opted by the Progressive neo Marxists and in a sense are absolutely useless in trying to redirect our government back to a basic republic that is designed to politically work from the bottom up.

However I do think it would be wise to first beat the Communist in the White House along with his progressive lackeys then start cleaning up the pet RINO mess afterward. If we split now, then The 0bie stands a good chance of getting another 4 years, which if he does, it will be the beginning of the end of our republic.

As for differences of opinion, well they do happen in our form of society and government (yet keep in mind that our current progressive and RINO masters in DC would rather muzzle the dirty and clinging masses for political convenience.). A disagreement over slightly varying political opinions should not be a declaration of war or the reason to end an alliance with another of similar, yet slightly different, view points. The disagreement should lead to a synthesis of both opinions into a better opinion that both sides can work with.

A democracy is of we the people. Not all take the same path to achieve the common goals of conservatism. I, for one, am loud and direct with my demands for the less government the better. Others are more timid and cling to government as a security blanket and want to move away from it more slowly. It takes all sides and ways to reach the set objective. Keep on Rocking, Rock!

It seems a shame you even had to do this Rock. We conservatives must stand together for our common goal. I, too, have had a bit of trouble with one or two conservatives. Let's every one of us unite for our cause and NOW!!!

I got some upset on some stuff I am adressing like our expanding foreign policy..We need to end the foreign aid, quit policing the world secure the border..How can we be the World Cop when we have 14 trillion national debt?..I am sick of how the Neocons got good Conservatives duped!

I consider myself independent since I don't agree with everything on either side. We have had disagreements and agreements, but we have always been respectful to one another. I totally love those that can agree to disagree :)

Yep, we need an open discussion on everything. Let the libs, socialists and communists discuss, openly, what they would like to do and what they would like to happen in this country. I want them to explain why their type of governing isn't working in other countries, and why would it work better here. Also, I want the conservatives explain why the free enterprise system is the best system in the world. They would also need to explain why this type of system produce "GREEDY CAPITALISTS". What can they do with these "GREEDY CAPITALISTS" that hurt the rest of the public. As for me, even the worst "CAPITALISTS" is better than the best "COMMUNIST"

Rock - I remember when you were promoting more mainstream Republican faction views, but you have gradually started supporting more of the ideas of the libertarian leaning conservatives. The libertarian leaning conservatives tend to try to wake up the mainstream faction to what is going on and the fact that much of the leadership of both parties is advancing a control grid over the citizens and promoting the agenda of powerful interests. Since you were part of the Republican mainstream and have many mainstream Republican SodaHead friends, I think many have been more open to hearing your current views.

Well Rock you, and I have had our differences,but we have managed to work them out I believe.
I know nothing about what is going on, and really don't care to. We are all here for the samething, and if we lose site of the goal then the last 4 years have been for nothing. What ever has happened it will all come out in the wash so don't let it distract you from the real problems we face. Shake it off.
