my art teacher says i need to push my limits a little farther. every time i draw something she goes, "you've drawn this sort of thing before, this is easy for you, you need to do something out of your comfort zone."
so, i need to draw something that's kinda hard to draw. the question is, what do i draw?

Um, well it depends on what you usually draw. But maybe you could draw you're favorite actor, or singer, or person. Drawing faces is not an easy thing to do. Especially with all the detail and shading. I just finished a drawing of a face today, and it was really hard, but I'm really proud of it.
Or you could draw an animal or something.

your art teacher is right, you should push your limits and try more new things and challenges.

that depends on you. just let your imagination flow. take a walk if you need to. find something in everyday life or in a 'what could be' image (fantasy). ; )

Animals are easier for me to draw, but I'm getting better at people. My best pictures are from Harry Potter, mostly Ron with the horcrux in the Seventh book, sorry I don't have a clue how to show anyone on this site my picture especially since some are on my Nintendo DSI. But think about something you like *looks at your name* like Harry Potter. Example:

you might pause a bit to get the idea, then you'll impress your teachers for sure with a masterpiece in the future!

Yes I did, lol. It was really hard and took over 5 hours to draw it. If you want a real challenge, draw a face because it is super difficult.

it looks perfect!! i mean, look at his expression! did you like copy it off from a picture or just drew it from your mind's eye? i suck at drawing faces, unless i copy off from somewhere, but that doesn't end up looking okay either ... you're right, faces are difficult, and maybe that's exactly what my art teacher wants. since i don't draw faces much, i think it'll be perfect for a change. thanks for helping=))

well i draw a lot of scenery... and sometimes funky abstract stuff, like when you have no clue what you just drew, but it looks good anyway.

Maybe you need to ask yourself what do I want to do with my life. Do you want to design fashions-Do you want to design buildings or maybe an auto designer.Pick a field that your interested in and go for it.If your good drawing people or maybe animations.Your young yet,so the world is your oyster still.
