Im a 13 year old boy and i wanna be a girl so bad. I dont wanna tell my parents though, it would be bad. i need tips and ideas to become a full girl

Please do not infer that I think there is anything wrong with being a girl if you are a girl, or a third world girl for the matter. I was only making a point of the difficulties faced by Women and the irrationality of wishing for something one could never become.

Be yourself, if you want to become a woman/girl tell your parents, tell them why you feel the way you do. If they love you and respect you, then they will understand. It may be a little weird but whatever makes YOU happy.

Sorry. You'll never be a girl even if you have surgery. God didn't make you that way. I would learn to be satisfied with what God gave me. Being a girl isn't so great anyway. :)

Why not enjoy freedom a while lomger?

For when you start placing labels, boxes or caetegories around who you want to be, you might just create a prison from it will be impossible to escape from...

I would recommend finding an LGBT youth group in your area. Know that you are not alone there is a lot you can do to help you become a girl. You will need to tell your parents because a lot of the things to do are medical. Try to contact Pflag in you area they will be able to help you find out all the information you need. bad idea to keep it from your parents. If you're completely sure that's what you want you shouldnt be afraid to tell them exactly that you want to be. Theres no going back once you've had an operation and you have to think about if you'd be able to handle the judgment. You wont be exactly a girl either and you'll have to tell ppl you plan on getting close to that you've had the change because some would react badly but the ones who accept it are the ones you will be able to keep. You need to seek counciling to find out if this real or an emotional problem and how to cope with whatever the present crisis is at this moment. Also discuss with a councilor what strategy to take in treatment.

You will HAVE TO TELL YOUR PARENTS if indeed this is a transgendered problem is real, especially since you're going to need the emotional support and convalescent help if you need to have the "corrective" surgery. I don't know them but under the best conditions It'll probably take some time for them to understand and accept.

Being a girl isn't easy....I'd know because I've been a girl for 15 years now. :-/ But, if you really wanna be a girl, then I guess you could at least try to tell your parents. And dress up like one. I've seen it on TV, and it turned out really good. :)

At least right now it's a bad idea. You're only 13. You change your mind about a lot of things in your teen years. In a few years, you might completely change your mind. I know it's cliche, but it's true. Just wait until you're like 20, and think about it then.

Right now it's a bad idea. Patience. Educate yourself. You'll succeed, and attain everything you want, if you have a huge amount of patience. Work hard, learn everything you can, be kind and be MINDFULL. You WILL want to be happy when you're 20, and you will be both happy AND 20 soon if you don't screw up.

If you're like the people you see on 20/20 then you feel traped in your male body while you feel like a female. If that is the case then you need to speak to your parents and a doctor. Your journey into becoming female hasn't even begun yet.
